Ukrainian scientists have recreated a Neanderthal from DNA. He grows up in a secret institute disguised as a garage cooperative and only steps into the big world after reaching adulthood. Due to a lack of life experience and unique thinking patterns, the Ukrainian Neanderthal constantly finds himself in strange situations – and looks at the local sapiens with a somewhat naive outsider’s perspective. However, it gradually becomes clear: things can be more complicated. And this is not science fiction. As one of the heroines will say on another occasion, it is "more of a tragicomedy."
