These are the love correspondence of Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska (Roxolana) with her husband, Sultan Suleiman, and diplomatic - with the Hungarian Queen Isabella Jagiellonian, Polish King Sigismund II Augustus and the Persian Princess Sultan. At the same time, the messages of Roxolana's successors, Valide Nurban and Safia, to the Doge of Venice, Queen Catherine de 'Medici of France, and Elizabeth I of England, are also quoted.
